Job Requirements

  • Ensures food preparation is completed
  • Maintains good communication with Chef and other kitchen teams members, Expediters, and Servers as appropriate
  • Prepares ingredients to recipe in sufficient quantities for service as directed by Chef or Sous Chef
  • Always ensures the highest standard of cleanliness, and works proactively to reduce wastage while maintaining the highest quality of food served
  • May be assigned a specific station in a kitchen, which will rotate for training and coverage purposes
  • Undertakes stock rotation, supports inventory management processes
  • Participates in regular deep cleaning schedule and ad hoc kitchen hygiene responsibilities as Directed

Job Conditions

  • Must be familiar with the use of kitchen equipment.
  • Previous experience in food preparation.
  • Must have knowledge of and follow sanitation procedures.
  • Has a solid understanding of different cuisines and food preparation methods.
  • Has a good command of both spoken and written English.
  • Have experience as a Cook in a similar environment such as a hotel, restaurant, catering, or other
  • fast-paced high-volume establishment.
  • Education Details Senior secondary (10+2)

  • Standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Fast-paced
  • environment, Repetitive tasks.
  • Specific Skills
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, clean kitchen, and work areas. Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Work under pressure
  • Experience 2-3 years
  • English requirement CLB -5 all aspects
  • Visa(Work Permit/PR) Work Permit
  • Overtime Required, 1.5% more than the regular hours of work
  • Age 25 and above
  • Accommodation Own arrangement
  • Food Allowances Own arrangement
